- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, AK intends to award a sole source purchase order to Alaska Tent & Tarp. Alaska Tent & Tarp will be providing SNAP ON and LISTA supplies. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 19.502-2. The anticipated award date is 26 January 2009. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 26 January 2009 at 12:00 PM Alaska Standard Time.
