CONTACT KATHRINE.BUDD@FAA.GOV BY EMAIL ONLY WITH QUESTIONS PERTAINING TO THIS REQUEST FOR OFFER.. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) hereby announces its intention to issue a Request for Offer # DTFAAC-09-R-00333 for the Inspection, Repair and Overhaul Maintenance for the FAA-owned Pratt Whitney engines (PT6A-21, PT6A-41 AND PT6A-135) supporting Flight Standard Training Aircraft. The FAA has established a reasonable expectation for competition and will issue the RFO based on those expectations. As such, the FAA intends, unless additional information is provided, that this requirement be unrestricted and considered to be Full and Open to all Qualified Vendors Capable and Certified to perform the tasks outlined within the scope of work. Contract Type: ID/Requirements Type Time & Material Cost Type5 Year Period of Performance (Basic 1-Yr w/4 1Yr Options) A draft of the RFO is provided for review purposes only. The FAA reserves the right to amend, correct and/or cancel in it's entirely the effort as outlined in the DRAFT RFO # DTFAAC-09-R-00333. The successful offeror will be the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) as outlined in accordance with the RFO. The RFO responses received will be reviewed and evaluated based on responsiveness to the Statement of Work as outlined in Sections L & M. Technical evaluations will be determined on an "acceptable/unacceptable" basis. Firms deemed unacceptable will be eliminated from consideration for award. Responders to this announcement must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov. Responses to this announcement from firms not registered in the CCR will be considered non-responsive.
