- DESCRIPTION:***This synopsis replaces the synopsis for RFP AG-3395-S-09-0008 that was previously posted to this site. All materials pertinent to this solicitation will be posted under the number AG-3395-S-09-0008B. Please update your information as necessary*** Successful offeror shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for pavement repairs of Forest Service Road (FSR) 95 on the North River Ranger District of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests in Augusta County, Virginia. The project includes approximately 315 tons of bituminous concrete overlay and patching; 185 tons of bituminous concrete scratch patching; 3,548 sq yds of bituminous surface treatment patching; 32,500 sq. yds of single bituminous surface treatment; and associated work including bituminous tacking, patch excavation and aggregate placement. GOVERNMENT COST ESTIMATE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 LOCATION: The project is located approximately 15 miles west of Bridgewater, Virginia. Take State Route 730 to Stokesville, VA, then State Route 718 to FSR 95. Project is located approximately 3 miles west of State Route 718 along FSR 95. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND SITE VISIT INFORMATION: Contract time will be 35 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed. Pre-Proposal Showing/Site Visit will be held on January 28, 2009 at 11:00 at the North River Ranger District (address is included in the solicitation). CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry and must have completed a profile in the Online-Representations and Certifications database prior to award of a contract. Registration may be completed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors must also be registered in ORCA (Online Representations and Certifications) prior to contract award, and may accomplish this on the Internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You must be registered in CCR and have an MPIN number before you can begin ORCA registration. SET-ASIDE: This project is a 100% competitive HUBZone Set-Aside. NAICS code for this project is 237310. The small business size standard for this project is $33.5 million. BONDING INFORMATION: A 20% Offer Guarantee and 100% Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation AG-3395-S-09-008B and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Proposals and will be available for downloading on January 14, 2009 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All potential contractors and subcontractors should register on the FedBizOpps website as an Interested Vendor. The online Interested Vendors list will be the only such list maintained for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
