- The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCenter (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic(Charleston) is soliciting informationfrom potential sources to provide aquantity of 9 automatic antennaswitches (AAS) in accordance with thefollowing specifications. Each AAS must be capable ofpermitting a minimum of 4transceivers, operating anywherebetween 30 Mhz to 430 Mhz, to share asingle antenna. The unit must becapable of a fail-safe operation inbypass mode, should power be lost.The unit shall be capable of acceptinga minimum input power of 50 Wattsfrom each transceiver with a loss nogreater than 2dB for a singletransmitter and 8 dB for multipletransmitters. The unit must have atransmit-receive switching speed lessthan 100 microseconds (uS), or fastenough to support frequency hoppingelectronic counter counter measure(ECCM) techniques such as SINgleChannel Ground and Airborne RadioSystem (SINCGARS) and HAVEQUICK-I/II. It is preferred that the antennaswitch have a built in low-noise-amplifier (LNA) with a minimal gain of1.5 dB. The unit shall be operational inan environment of 5 to 45 degreesCelsius, and satisfy electromagneticcompatibility standards of MIL-STD-461E. It is preferred the unit be rackmountable in 3U space or less, andweigh less than 50 lbs. This notice is for planning purposesonly. It is anticipated that a formalsolicitation will be issued in the nearfuture, after market research has beenconducted, for a one-time Firm Fixed-Price, commercial item contract. Theapplicable NAICS code is 423690, witha size standard of 100 employees.Firms are invited to submit appropriatedocumentation, literature, brochuresand references to support and shouldacknowledge whether their productmeets/does not meet each and everyspecification requirement. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Vincent.Dellinger@navy.mil.Responses must include the following:(1) name and address of firm; (2) sizeof business, including: average annualrevenue for past three years andnumber of employees; (3) ownership(including country of ownership),indicating whether: Large, Small, SmallDisadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned,HUBZone, Veteran-Owned and/orService-Disabled Veteran-OwnedBusiness, and Central ContractorRegistration (CCR) information; (4)number of years in business; (5) twopoints of contact, including: name,title, phone, fax, and e-mail address;(6) DUNS Number; (7) affiliateinformation: parent corporation, jointventure partners, potential teamingpartners, prime contractor (if potentialsubcontractor) or subcontractors (ifpotential prime); (8) a list ofcustomers covering the past 5 years:highlight relevant work including asummary of work performed, contractnumber, contract type, dollar value foreach customer reference, and customerpoint of contact with phone number.
