- Amendment 0002 is being issued to reopen subject solicitation to establish an exact date of closing as previous amendment did not indicate a closing date. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. The small business size standard is 750 for NAICS 336399 which applies to CLINs 0003-0020 and 500 for NAICS 332995 which applies to FSCs 1095. The amendment will be available on or about January 14. 2009 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 20 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. The major FSCs of the requirement are: 1095, 2510, 2530, 2540, 2541, 2590, 2910, and 2990. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a base year and 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full & open competition applies. The solicitation will be available on or about August 21, 2008 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Hard copies are not available. The delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in the solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested individuals may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of the notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
