- Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army-Soldier Systems Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis with AVL Looms, Inc., of 3851 Morrow Lane #9, Chico, CA 95928, to provide an industrial computer dobby loom. This loom will be used by NSRDEC to produce a fully customizable range of woven constructions. Only computer-dobby looms can provide the required degree of production flexibility. AVL Looms is the only US manufacturer of computer-dobby looms. No solicitation document is available.
