Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice to obtain Cultural Resources Compliance Services for work within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The work is associated with Federal undertakings on private lands where conservation practices are being applied to farmland used for crop and animal production. The NRCS seeks to establish an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity fixed-price contract(s) for a base period and four option periods. Individual task orders will be awarded after a competitive bid process of those firms receiving an IDIQ contract. Task orders could include performance of any part of operations necessary to perform Cultural Resources surveys of varying intensity. This includes archival research, curation, survey reports, laboratory analysis, field pedestrian survey, field shovel test, deep testing, disking and strip plowing. It is anticipated that more than one contract will be awarded from the solicitation. It is estimated that between 3 and 20 investigations per year may be needed. The estimated price range over the potential five (5) year life of the contract(s) is $100,000 to $250,000. This is a 100 percent Small Business Set Aside. Specific evaluation criteria will be outlined in the solicitation package. All responses that meet the criteria will be considered for award. Award(s) will be made to the responsible offeror(s) submitting the proposal that provides the best value to the NRCS. The solicitation package and all attachments will be posted to this website on or about 15 days from issuance of this notice. Responses will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract.
