- The U.S. Maritime Administration intends to acquire on a sole source basis from L-3 Klein Associates, Inc., 18 Saddle Ranch Lane, Hillsdale, NJ 07642, delivery of two Raytheon NSC 34 Display Unit consoles (#BST 8667); one NSC 25 KW X Band Transceiver (UP) with an 8-foot antenna (#8748); one NSC 30 KW S Band Transceiver (UP) with 12-foot antenna (#8750); 60 meters of radar signal cable (#BST 8515); and NSC design EDCIS C29 with 23.1" TFT color display bridge station console including ECDIS Radar Overlay, (#BST 8725). Market research indicates that L-3 Klein Associates is the only vendor capable of providing this particular unit. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by emailing a Capability Statement (CS) or faxing the CS at 757-441-6080 by 2:30 p.m. on 19 Jan 2009. Capability statements must include documentation establishing the ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. Interested persons should identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
