Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston issoliciting information from potential sources to provide the following brandname Motorola equipment: Two (2) Motorola GTR-8000 Expandable Site Sub-Systems, each will include supporting cabinetry, supporting software,supportinghardware; Three (3) UHF Omni directional dipole antennas, each will includesupporting connectors and cabling; Ten (10) UHF Motorola XTL-5000Consolette radios (380-470 MHz) each will include software; Two low PIM singledipole UHF antennas, each will include hardware; Two (2) short-haul controlstation combiners; Ten (10) Centracom Gold equipment each will includeinterface hardware, supporting CEB card and cage, and power supply; systemintegration; training; and year 1-4 maintenance warranty for the US MarineCorps. U.S. Marine Corps has Motorola XTS-2500 handheld subscriber units inaddition to the Motorola infrastructure already in place, which are bothcompatible with the GTR-8000. The Motorola equipment currently owned andutilized by the Government contains proprietary software programming, whichallows specific functionality that will be lost if using non-Motorolainfrastructurewith Motorola subscriber units (e.g., Roaming, Dispatcher Control, Caller ID, I-Call, Telephone interconnect, Emergency signaling, Position LocationIndication). The current system aboard MCAS Yuma is not a P25 compliantsystem. The Motorola system that will be installed to replace the current onewill be industry standard P25 compliant. It is anticipated that a combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued forcommercial firm fixed price type contract under the test procedures of FAR part13.5 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source due to brandname. The applicable NAICS code is 334220 with a size standard of 750Employees. Firms are invited to submit the appropriate documentation (anyliterature, brochures, and references) necessary to support that they possessthe required capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the statedrequirements. There is a five (5) page limit for all data submitted.Responsesmust include the following: (1) name and address of firm, (2) size of business,including: average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees,(3) ownership (including Country of Ownership), indicating whether: Large,Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman-Owned, HUBZone, Veteran-Ownedand/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, and Central ContractorRegistration (CCR) information; (4) number of years in business; (5) twopoints of contact, including: name, title, phone, fax and e- mail; (6) DUNSNumber; (7) affiliate information: parent corporation, joint venture partners,potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) orsubcontractors(if potential prime), (8) Documentation to show that your company is anauthorized Motorola reseller of this specific equipment listed above (9)Soonestpossible delivery date.
