- This is the second amendment for this soliciation. Only newly submitted quotes will be considered. Air Force Materiel Command, Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright Patterson AFB OH, intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price and Time and Materials contract for UPS maintenance renewal support and service for NASIC in accordance with the format in Subpart 15.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a new request for competitive proposals for ITEMS 0001-0059. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide timely and effective services and a detailed itemized quote due by Thursday January 22, 2009 by close of business. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Line items are as follows:CLIN 0001-0054 RENEWAL MAINTENANCE SUPPORT AND SERVICECLIN 0055-0057 LABOR HOURSCLIN 0058-0059 SPARES AND TRAVEL (given) Use the Bill of Materials attached document to input your quotes. Each item number should indicate your quote/price for that item. Total 0001-0054 and record where indicated. Time and Materials: 0055-0057: Labor hours are a government estimate and should not exceed that amount for the life of the contract. Please input your labor hour rate and then multiply that by the given number of hours (do not change) and input your total where indicated.Total 001-0059 and record where indicated. All incomplete quotes will be considered unresponsive. Delivery and service at: NASIC/SCXA, 4170 Hebble Creek Road, Building 280, Door 12, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Howard E. Marks Jr., Chief, ASC/AE, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, 45433, has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Existence of the Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer. Accordingly, the Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, the evaluation of proposals or the source selection process and, therefore, for routine matters on individual solicitations, please contact the buyer at the telephone number listed herein.
