- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Office Environment International, Inc., 270 S Quincy St, STE 320, Arlington, VA, 22206-2267 on a sole source basis for remodeling and reconfiguration of 13 Allsteel Concensys Stations at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, MD. This is to ensure consistency and uniformity with existing office furniture with other offices within the department. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W74MYF8346N519. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Governments requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
