Description
Technical Requirements Purchase of Portable Depth Recorder 1. General: Purchase of one high performance portable depth recorder and transducer meeting the requirements of EM 1110-2-103 (Ross 825b or similar). The depth recorder case shall be waterproof and constructed of a high impact material. The depth recorder shall also be provided with a compatible shipping case. 2. Depth Recorder Requirements: a. Power Input: Shall be capable of operating on 12V DC power. b. Display: LCD display c. Data Recording: Depth information recorded on internal hard drive. Software and cables shall be provided to allow information to be transferred from the internal hard drive to a compatible desktop printer for printing a hard copy. d. Interfacing: shall be accomplished through serial port or USB port. e. Compatibility: Must be compatible with HYPACK survey software and allow communication through the serial port or USB port. f. Software: Provide all software required for playback to a compatible desktop printer. g. Controls: User Selectable Controls for Sound Velocity, Draft, Tide, Operating Range, Event Mark. h. Scale: Capability for feet and meters 3. Transducer Requirements: a. Frequency: 200 kHz b. Spread 3 degrees c. Thru-hull mounting 4. Accessories: The following accessories shall be included as part of the complete system: a. Shipping Case b. Serial and USB Cables c. 12V power cable d. Bulkhead Mounting Bracket e. Pigtail to accept input from alternate (Raytheon) transducer 5. Required Delivery Date: 90 days from award date. 6. Delivery Address: FOB destination to USACE Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, N.Y.12180. 7. Payment: Contract bid price shall include all costs associated with the manufacturing and delivery of the depth sounder complete, including transducer, cables, software and accessories noted above. Payment will be made within 30 days after delivery, acceptance and receipt of a proper invoice. 8. POC at USACE Albany Field Office: Dan Karlok or Bill Petronis (518) 273-0870.
