- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on behalf of and as an agent of the Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue Request for Proposal (RFP)797-DSNS-0904 for Ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets in bottles of 100 each. The estimated requirement is 12,142,856 bottles of 100 each. The Government is seeking monthly deliveries commencing in May and ending in December 2009. Total deliveries must equal the estimated requirement of 12,142,856 bottles. Shelf life dating of product must be a minimum of 34 months at time of delivery. Offeror's must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed letter of commitment between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer. Solicitation No 797-DSNS-0904 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 with a closing date of February 6, 2009. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
