- The Department of Defense Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) intends to award on a competitive basis, a contract for educational services, (grades pre-kindergarten through 12) for approximately 30 to 40 eligible dependent children in the Ceiba, Puerto Rico area. The period of performance will be July 1 2009, or date of award, whichever is later, through June 30 2010 for school year 2009-2010, with the option to extend services for up to 4 one-year periods. The solicitation number is HEVAS6-09-R-0004 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Department of Defense Domestic Elementary and Secondary Schools is a federal government agency, an education activity, tax exempt, and qualified for academic/educational pricing.
