- Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a requirement for performing maintenance of water candles. VA-250-09-RQ-0079 will be issued on or about January 23, 2009 with a closing date on or about February 9, 2009. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE COMPETED FULL AND OPEN. The North American Industrial code (NAICS) for this procurement is 337214 (size standard of 500 employees). This will be a Firm Fixed Price, contract. The contractor will provide the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to fully maintain illuminated glass pools on stands with electronically circulating water in the shape of candles. There are a total of 12 units composing the pre-existing fountain which is located in the Atrium area of the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10107 East Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44107.. The expected period of performance is the date of award through September 30, 2009, with four pre-priced option years. Responses to this pre-solicitation notice will not be sufficient, an offeror must respond to the solicitation.
