- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ-050507-012-09 and make a single award for the provision of a Baxter gas oven for Federal Medical Center. The vendor shall provide and install a Baxter roll- in gas oven, Model #. BXA2G that holds (2) single or (1) double oven racks, programmable digital controls, auto rack lift, self cleaning steam system, stainless steel construction, fully welded hood, flush floor,single vent, 300,000 BTU. Installation requirements: labor and materials required for the installation of Baxter roll-in oven Model #. BXA2G including (1.) uncrete, erect, and set new oven in place (2.) Remove the debris and make ready for final use. Any and all utility and/or final connections, ductwork from the oven hood including any fan work, ceiling work or floor repairs are to be provided by government and installed by the government. Vendor's employees must successfully pass an NCIC, criminal background check after notification of award. Vendor must not have any contact with the inmates. Vendor must complete a DOJ Residency Form. The solicitation will be available on or before January 16, 2009. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Any vendor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov and www.orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunity website www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
