Description
The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to issue a contract for 1)Playground Equipment and Tiles; 2)Services to remove and dispose of the existing playground equipment and tiles; and 3)Installation of the new playground equipment and tiles for a school in Guam. This requirement will be procured utilizing the Tradeoff source selection evaluation process in accordance with FAR 15. Technical evaluation factors for this procurement will be 1) Design of Playground; 2) Management Approach; 3) Technical Expertise and 4) Past Performance. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 36 and 15. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price construction contract. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination to Andersen Elementary School, Andersen AB, Guam. Specific offeror submittal requirements and specification information will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-09-R-6002 to be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about 14 January 2009, to close 30 days from RFP issuance date. The anticipated award date will be on or about 17 February 2009. This entire project must be completed no later than 30 August 2009. The Department of Defense requires all offerors and contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Inquires concerning the RFP may be submitted in writing via email to: dppd@pac.dodea.edu.
