- Virginia Contracting Activity intends to award a simplified acquisition, purchase order on a sole source basis to James P. Roddy Company for the purchase of maintenance support services for the existing electric power analytical training, developed by James P. Roddy Company in support of the Department of Defense. The analytical training is proprietary in nature. Therefore, since there are no James P. Roddy Company authorized providers, to accept bids from other sources would avoid existing warranties. Award will be made subject to the availability of funds. Award of this solicitation will be made on or about 28 January 2009. NAICS Code: 541990. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
