- Solicitation Number Q340009E008 will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed price contract. The work of this contract consists of repairing and restoring six (6) bronze doors at the Lincoln Memorial for the National Mall and Memorial Parks, Washington, D.C. The principle work includes all equipment, labor, materials and supplies needed for repairing door framing, replacing in-kind hardware as needed, replace door closers, re-hanging doors, clean and refinish bronze to maintain its historic patina. All contractors experienced in this type of service may compete for this contract. There will be a site walk thru on January 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM, see solicitation for more details. Estimated project magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation will be available at the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 15, 2009 with an offer due date of 4 PM, February 15, 2009. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation.
