- Replace lower and upper Warehouse roofs on Forbes building at Yankton Federal Prison Camp, 1016 Douglas, Yankton, SD 57078. The roofing material will be a 60 mil EPDM roof system, approximately 4,425 total sq ft, per attached specifications. Lower Forbes Warehouse: Approximately 3,100 sq. ft. The contractor will tear off the existing EPDM mechanically fastened roof and 1/2" fiber board system and coordinate removal of debris with FPC Yankton. FPC Yankton will load and remove roofing debris from the job site. Contractor will inspect wooden roof decking and repair as needed. Contractor will mechanically fasten 1/2" fiber board over the wooden roof deck; furnish and install a 15-year manufacturer's warranty solid adhered 60 mil EPDM roof system to manufacturer's specifications. Upper Forbes Warehouse: Approximately 1,325 sq. ft. The contractor will tear off the existing EPDM, mechanically fastened roof system and coordinate removal of debris with FPC Yankton. FPC Yankton will load and remove roofing debris from the job site. Contractor will mechanically refasten the existing two layers of 1-1/2" insulation board and one layer of 1/2" fiber board to wooden deck. Contractor will install a 60 mil solid adhered EPDM roof system to manufacturer's specifications for a 15-year manufacturer's warranty. EPDM roof system will include covering the parapet walls and cap stone; furnish and install manufacturer's standard flashing and termination for edge metal with continuous keeper to be colored to match cap stone, 24-gauge Kynar finish or equal.
