Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, 39522 to solicit orally on an unrestricted basis and issue a sole source award to Landmark Graphics Corporation, Houston, TX under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for the renewal of software subscription for existing government-owned ProMAX software. The specified software and the requested support subscription is manufactured and provided solely by Landmark Graphics Corporation. The resulting purchase order will be firm, fixed price, with performance beginning 05 Jan 2008 and four option periods. Award is anticipated by 30 Jan 2009. The applicable NAICS is 511210 with a business size of $25.0M. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
