- Resistance welding machine, 200KVA at 50% duty cycle, 48 inches from center line of the electrodes to nearest obstruction on the machine frame, must be compliant with AWS D17.2/D17.2M, and capable of welding the following materials: Aluminum alloy (2024), min. thickness 0.040 in., max. thickness 0.125 in.; Aluminum alloy (6061), min. thickness 0.040 in., max. thickness 0.125 in.; Aluminum alloy (7075), min. thickness 0.040 in., max. thickness 0.125 in.; Stainless Steel 300 Series, min. thickness 0.062in., max. thickness 0.156 in.; Clean Mild Steel, min. thickness 0.062 in., max. thickness 0.250 in. The basic requirement is for one welder and an option for a second welder of the same specification. The welders are to be provided as a turn-key system at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. Turn-key includes any rigging that may be required for installation. The welder(s) shall be installed onto an existing foundation. One year full system warranty is required, to include any manufacturer recommended preventive maintenance. Welder(s) shall be provided FOB Destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot. Delivery shall be provided within 210 days of award, to include all documentation, testing, and training. The solicitation, W25G1V-09-R-0009, with anticipated approximate issue date of 20 JAN 09 and closing date anticipated as 19 FEB 09, will also include four one-year options for maintenance. This requirement is currently Subject to Availability of Funds. Applicable NAICS is 333992, criteria 500 employees. The welder is an end product (FSG 34) which is subject to the Trade Agreements.
