- The items to repair are the Dynamic Reference Unit (DRU), NSN: 6605-01-334-9447, Part Number 9396270 and the Dynamic Reference Unit Hybrid (DRUH), NSN: 6605-01-422-0715, Part Number 12967900. The proposed contract will be a Five Year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) (IDIQ) Time and Material repair contract. The estimated requirements for Dynamic Reference Unit (DRU) and the Dynamic Reference Unit Hybrid (DRUH) is 15 each 1st year, 25 each 2nd thru 5th years. Technical Data is proprietary, and contract is sole source to Honeywell International DSES Clearwater Defense, 13350 US Highway 19 North, Clearwater FL, 33764-7226. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. Requirements are 15 each, Dynamic Reference Unit (DRU) and Dynamic Reference Unit Hybrid (DRUH). FOB is Origin. This will be used on the M109A6 Paladin Self-Propelled Howitzer and the Firefinder Radar System. Estimated issue date is 31 Dec 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm All or a part of this action is a funded FY09 requirement. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, and at the present time there are no funds or resources to qualify another vendor. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
