- There is no solicitation. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR has plans to award using other than full and open competition to Tumac Machinery of Walla Walla Washington.. Work involves rental and delivery of a drill seeder to the Mid-Columbia River National Wildlife Refuge Complex in Burbank WA for a three month period on a plant stabilization project of approximately 14,000 acres. This is a 35 foot folding drill seeder and Tumac Machinery is the only know source that rents seed drills in the Columbia Basin. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Tumac Machinery. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1. Technical inquiries may be directed to MaryKay Edwards at (509) 546-8301.
