Description
5 January 2009: Amendment 4 to the SFP RFP is hereby provided. One file has been uploaded: FA8625-09-R-6483-P0004. The 30 Jan 09 proposal deadline has not changed.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------18 December 2008: This notice is hereby provided as Amendment 0003 To the official C-130 AMP Source Familiarization Phase (SFP) Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8625-09-R-6483. The Government is exercising its right to amend the subject RFP. The C-130 AMP SFP RFP has now been amended to reflect the award of a single contract to up to two qualified offerors, for up to two aircraft kit installations each. As such, the period of performance for CLIN 0002AB has been changed to April 2010 through January 2012 and will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached schedule of changes in the RFP amendment for specific changes that have occurred. Please note that changes in Section M are not intended to do not alter the evaluation criteria but rather to clarify the award of a single contract to up to two qualified offerors. Since these changes may represent material changes, proposal deadline for all volumes, with the exception of past performance, has been extended to not later than 3:00 p.m. EST, 30 January 2009. Two (2) amended documents have been uploaded for immediate implementation: FA8625-09-R-6483-0002 (RFP) and FA8625-09-R-6483; Section L-0002.The only change, as outlined within the RFP amendment, has resulted in a new Section L, Attachment 4. Please note that the proposal response dates HAVE NOT changed as a result of this amendment. General Administrative Reminder Notice: Reference Section L, Paragraph 5.2, Past Performance Questionnaires: All questionnaire transmittal letters must contain explicit instructions that all questionnaire responses are to be provided directly to the Government CO at the address identified in Section L, paragraph 2.2. That address is as follows: Acquisition Center of Excellence (ASC/AQH), Area B, Bldg. 570, 1755 Eleventh Street, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-7404. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------25 November 2008: Reference Section L, page 6, Section 2.4, Paper Version: If you are having problems marking the PIXS pages with appropriate Source Selection Sensitive or Proprietary Markings, manually typed or handwritten markings are acceptable on the Past Performance volume (Volume III) only.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------19 November 2008: SFP Request for Proposal Administrative Clarification, Past Performance Volume III Requirements: Hardcopies for Volume III can be printed directly from PIXS and are exempt from the font and spacing requirements found in Section L of the RFP.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------31 October 2008: Amendment 1 to the SFP RFP is hereby posted. There are five (5) amended files included in this update: FA8625-09-R-6483-0001 (RFP w/changed attachments); Section L-001; Section M-001; Section L, Attachment 2 (MS Word format); and the RFP Q&A response matrix. Please note that the proposal response dates HAVE NOT changed as a result of this amendment.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------20 October 2008: This notice is hereby provided as the formal issuance of the official Request for Proposal (RFP) for the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) Source Familiarization Phase (SFP) effort. The Government reserves the right to amend the RFP if necessary. Please see the executive summary letter for more specific details regarding this solicitation.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------15 October 2008: The anticipated release date for the C-130 AMP SFP solicitation is now tentatively scheduled to occur on or about Friday, 17 October. Details on proposal due dates will be addressed by the RFP upon release.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------01 October 2008: Notification of a change in schedule for Solicitation Release. The target release date for the final SFP solicitation has changed. The revised release date is anticipated to be on or around 10 October 2008. In preparation for solicitation release, potential offerors need to provide the following to Maj Michael Watson by COB 8 October 2008: CAGE Code and the complete address for your modification facility. This information will be used for security confirmation to allow access to the Bidders Library. Access to bidders library will not be granted until offeror information has been confirmed and the solicitation has been formally released.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------02 September 2008: Updated Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) files have been posted. All obsolete documents have been removed from PIXS.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This is not a Request for Proposal. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement. Submitting capabilities in response to this announcement is strictly voluntary, and participants shall not be compensated. This notification is to be considered a step in establishing industry understanding of the C-130 AMP SFP requirements.
