- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W81NTE83458503 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS code 334519, Size STD 500. The requirements in this solicitation: 1. UNFORS Model 1505034 Xi Platinum Prest w/mAs Qty 2 (Includes the following items: Unfors Xi Base Unit w/mAs, Unfors Xi R/F & MaAM Detector, Unfors Xi Light Detector, Unfors Xi CT Detector and Unfors Xi Flexi Stand). 2. UNFORS Model 1202060 Xi Survey Detector - Qty 2. 3. UNFORS MODEL 1204010 Xi Mammo w/A1 Calibr Qty 2. 4. UNFORS MODEL 1204011 Xi Mammo M-Pro Calibr Qty 2. MFG: OWENS SCIENTIFIC INC Vendors offering other than the brand name product shall meet or exceed the following Salient Charteristics: The Unfors Xi Platinum Prestige is a complete system for multi-parameter measurements on all modalities. This includes R/F, Mammo, Dental and CT with an added option for luminance and illuminance measurements of medical monitors. All Unfors Xi Detectors are interchangeable and function with any Base Unit. The Unfors Xi system can simultaneously measure kVp, dose, dose rate, HVL, pulse, pulse rate, dose/frame, mA, mAs, time and waveforms. These measured values of kVp and dose are automatically corrected, utilizing Active Compensation, to provide you with an accurate and corrected value. By using multiple sensors and advanced algorithms, the Unfors Xi automatically determines the beam quality and corrects for any added filtration with minimal setup time. Acquiring your first exposure takes less than a minute. Vendors shall comply with FAR 52.211-6 if submitting other than the Brand Name product. Clause 52.211-6 (and other FAR clauses throughout this solicitation) can be viewed by accessing website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Delivery, 30 days after receipt of order, shipping shall be FOB destination to Brooke Army Medical Center, FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX 78234. Acceptance Location: Brooke Army Medical Center, Property Book, BLDG 3600, 3851 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. FAR provision 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors Commercial] applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program.
