Description
Notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Colonial Parking in Washington, DC for secure vehicle parking spaces for Government vehicles. One of the requirements for parking garage space is that the garage must be located within 100 yards of the Government offices located at 633 3rd Street in Washington DC. Colonial Parking is the only parking garage in the area that is located in such close proximity to the building as dictated by the requirement document. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to be used for consideration of future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and an RFQ will not be issued, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and used for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who wishes to submit a proposal for future consideration should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman no later than 12:00 noon EST, January 5, 2009 at robert.sieferman@dhs.gov. Only email responses will be accepted.
