- Description
- This is a notice of intent of the Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5068 to award a contract for maintenance of the DIH2O Water Treatment System at Walter Reed Medical Center. This is a sole source procurement due to proprietary and warranty concerns. CHCC intends to award to Siemens Water Technology, under authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). Siemens Water Technology is the only source that can perform services on the water treatment system. All other proposals received will be considered. Award will be made on or about 6 January 2009. The delivery schedule will be 6 January 2009 though 5 January 2010 with the option to extend the contract for two additional years.
