- Description
- The Government is currently performing market research in preparation for its future management tasks of work currently contracted through the Fielded Training Systems Support II (FTSS II) multiple award contract (MAC) vehicle. The Government is seeking interest and comments from Industry on their experiences competing in FTSS and similar efforts and in performance on awarded tasks within the FTSS contracts, other contracting vehicles, and for other communities and services. The Government is particularly interested in Industry’s recommendations for improvement to the current processes for contracting and performance of the overall work scope that has been awarded under FTSS II. Industry is encouraged to address the Government on both the concerns in the currently contracted efforts and its view on the future beyond the FTSS II contracting period. The Government prefers telephonic communication and electronically transmitted information as desirable methods to receive Industry comments, opinions, recommendations and presentations. Responses to this posting are requested to be received by the Government point of contact identified below by no later than close of business 23 January 2009. For advance planning purposes, the Government is tentatively considering hosting an Industry Day in Orlando, FL related to this effort in mid-April 2009.
