- Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy for a potential requirement for scoring system services on full-scale and sub-scale aerial targets at Tyndall AFB FL and full-scale aerial targets at Holloman AFB NM. The period of performance will cover a seven-month base plus (1) year option. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511(Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750. Interested small business concerns who are certified and qualified as a small business under NAICS 334511, and registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) under NAICS 334511 should submit a capabilities package (no more than 10 pages) outlining their key business abilities relevant to the performance of this requirement. All companies are encouraged to respond and submit their capability statements to this office NLT COB on 9 January 2009. This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. This potential requirement may be set-aside for small business participation pending the interest received in response to this synopsis. Interested sources that believe they have the capability to perform should respond to the POC below with affirmation that they are a small or large business, woman-owned, veteran-owned, and/or have existing GSA or other contracts that can be used for this order under the above applicable NAICS code. All documents associated with this projected requirement to include a draft Performance Work Statement (POW) will be posted on the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov. To assist us in maintaining a list of interested offerors for this potential procurement, please provide your company name, a point of contact, address, phone number, and business size under the above NAICS code, to the following POCs for this procurement: Edna Smith, AMIC/PBK, phone (757) 225-5803, edna.smith.ctr@langley.af.mil. The Government plans to consider all information submitted in response to this sources sought notice and use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information.
