- Description
- The United States Geological Survey (USGS), Western Coastal and Marine Team, intends to make a non-competitive award to Landmark Graphics of Houston, Texas for software support and update service on currently owned software products: (1) ProMAX 2D1 CPU, (2) ProMAX 2D/3D Lic, (3) Geodata Loading, (4) SeisWorks 2D, (5) TDQ, and (6) Openworks. The proposed contractor, Landmark Graphics, is the sole provider of these proprietary products mentioned above. This software support and upgrade service is for the period of 01 February 2009 through 31 January 2010. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and the procedures of FAR Part 12, entitled, "Acquisition of Commercial Items." In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(13)(ii), other responsible sources that believe they can meet the requirement described above may submit a capability statement or quotation no later than the closing date of this announcement which will be considered by the USGS. All responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contracting Officer at sklingler@usgs.gov. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-28, effective 12 December 2008. NAICS - 541512, Computer Systems Design Services.
