Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-09-T-5007, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. (iv) This procurement is a small business set aside. The NAICS code is 238150 Glass and Glazing Contractors and the size standard is $14 million. (v) Contractor shall utilize the below line item structure when preparing quotes: Line Item 0001 Description: Replace Windows at Bldg 1470 Non-personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportations, and other items and services necessary replace 4 sealed window units and headers. Windows sizes are: 2 each at 21' x 5'6" and 2 each at 18' x 5'6" In Accordance With (IAW) attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Line Item 0002 Description: Replace Windows at Bldg 1160 Non-personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportations, and other items and services necessary to replace six sealed window units and headers. Each window unit is 39" x 69" IAW attached PWS. (vi) The following commercial item is requested in this solicitation: Non-personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportations, and other items and services necessary to perform required window replacement for Buildings 1160 and 1470 on Peterson AFB CO. (vii) Advanced payments are not authorized. To be performed on Peterson AFB, CO from 26 Jan 09 - 28 Feb 09. (viii) The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items. All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. (ix) FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated based on price. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. All vendors must be registered in Online Representations and certifications (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov)) at the time of Quote submittal. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition. (xiv) Quote Submission: include price information. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. Contractor must be registered in CCR, ORCA and WAWF to be considered. The quote should provide for a cost of each line as described in paragraph (v). (xv) Site visit will be conducted at 0900 on 8 January 2009. All interested parties must RSVP to Brent Bertrand at: brent.bertrand2@peterson.af.mil or 719-556-8528 NLT 0900 on 7 January 2009. (xvi) All quotes must be sent to Brent Bertrand at: brent.bertrand2@peterson.af.mil. Quotes are required to be received no later than 12:00 pm MST, 15 January 2009.
