- DESC: NSN: 6650-01-317-9242, Part Number: 12548941, the item to procure is a Cell Assembly, Optical. Cell is made from Steel, corrosion, resisting class 302, Lens Housings are made from SP Polyimide-vespel SP-22, Approximate dimensions are 1.58 in outside diameter x 1.96 in long with two internal Optical lens. Requirements are 1,368 each, Cell Assembly, Optical. FOB is Destination. The End Item use is for the M1A1/A2 Abrams Tanks. Estimated issue date is 9 Jan 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
