- This posting superscedes that of W52H09-09-R-0048 posted on December 2nd, 2008. Reason for reposting is change in solicitation number. All other information remains unchanged. This solicitation is restricted to Sechan Electronics, Inc 525 Furnace Hills Pike Lititz, PA. 17543-8954. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. NSNs 7021-01-440-2127 and 1025-01-294-3341, PNs 6125100 (ordnance number 12979825) and 12554020. The proposed contract action is for the repair services on the AFCS Automated Computer Unit (ACU) and Prognostic Diagnostic Interface Unit (PDIU) and components thereof utilized on the Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under limited competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Repairs/upgrades will be in accordance with MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-2073-1, ANSI/IDO/ASQ Q9001-200, ASTM D3951-98, ASTM D4169-08, ASTM D4332-01, Federal Acquisition Regulation, DOD 4160-21-M-1, PRF 12979525 and PRF 12979825 and PRF 12554020. Requirements are unknown and will be met with a Time and Materials type contract. For use on the M109 Paladin. Estimated issue date is 30 DEC 2008. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government, and at the present time there are no funds or resources to qualify another vendor. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
