- The Department of Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VAECHS), located in Denver, Colorado intends to solicit sources to provide specialized genetic testing requirements for the determination of clinical diagnosis and treatment. Supplies and services are required for a base year and four option years. This acquisition will be conducted through full and open competition. The NAICS Code is 621511 with a size standard of $12.5 million. Requirements shall include but are not limited to the following laboratory tests: Chromosome Analysis (karyotyping) EM FISH one hybridization/analysis Individual FISH probe Two Probes, 2 Hybridization/analysis Two Probes, 3 Hybridization/analysis Two Probes, 4 Hybridization/analysis Two Probes, 5 Hybridization/analysis Two Probes, 6 Hybridization/analysis Interpretation and Report FISH Myeloma Panel JAK 2 FLT 3 B Cell Gene Rearrangement T Cell Gene Rearrangement All proposals received by January 16, 2009 will be considered by VA. A determination based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA. Solicitation VA-259-09-RP-0041 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
