To: Small Business Contractors From: Hensel Phelps Construction Co. Re: FINAL Small Business Outreach Conference - New U.S. Courthouse Project Attached is the flier for our final Small Business outreach event. Please mark Thursday, January 8th from 1pm to 4pm on your calendar. This “Outreach Conference” will be different from our previous events. Many of the regions leading and largest subcontractors are scheduled to participate in this event. Their goal is simple - network with small business firms, you, and create new partnerships for the Courthouse project. This project has very aggressive goals for Small Business. 45% of the subcontracted dollars must go to firms which fall under federal size guidelines. The most common size thresholds are $14 million for sub-trades and $33.5 million for Engineering and General Contractors. If you fall under these guidelines, you should not miss this event. This project will create many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier subcontracting opportunities. Don’t miss your chance to create new partnerships.
