- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA)COMPETITION FOR EXISTING LEASE LOCATION VA-262-09-SFO-0010 "VA SD Vista Clinic" The VA currently occupies approximately 14,000 net usable square feet of space at 1830 West Drive, Vista, California 92083 as an outpatient clinic. The lease expires on November 31, 2008. VA is conducting a competition for alternative space and will relocate if advantageous to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, and other factors will be considered when determining whether to relocate. The space must be on no more than one floor and provide between 14,000 to 14,500 NUSF of space. On-site parking for 42 vehicles is required. A lease for up to 4 years will be considered. Occupancy required by February 1, 2009. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: South - Lewis Street East - Thunder Dr. North - 78 Freeway West - Huff Street Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. Interested offerors (owners, brokers, or their legal representatives) should submit 2 copies of specific information concerning their properties to Alan Trinh/Sun Han by mail or e-mail no later than 4:00 p.m. on January 10, 2009, at the following address: VA-Network 22 Logistics Office 5901 E. 7th Street, Bldg. 149 Long Beach, CA 90822 Attn: Alan Trinh/Sun Han Telephone: 562-826-8124 E-Mail: ALAN.TRINH@VA.GOV Net usable square feet does not include such areas as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules and public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
