- This is to serve as notice that USAID intends to make a small business set-aside award to BulletinNews on a sole source basis for a six month subscription for their Media Monitoring Service from January 15, 2009 to July 15, 2009. The requirements for this service are as follows: The Bureau of Legislative and Public Affairs requires a contractor to provide a daily media monitoring service that will research, brief and summarize news about USAID and its officials, international development and humanitarian assistance.. The contractor will produce two documents, one consisting of daily news clips presented as a word document and pdf files, and a document consisting of a news summary with links embedded in the news summary that stream video clips. These documents will be delivered (Monday – Friday) to the Bureau of Legislative and Public Affairs no later than 6:00 a.m. daily except for Saturday, Sunday and designated Federal holidays. News sources will include, but not limited to the following: local, regional, national, international media markets, print, tv, radio, and online services. The contractor should include appropriate content from the State Department and White House News summaries. LPA also requires a succinct analysis of the pertinent daily U.S. and international news coverage including editorials and opinion articles. If the online version of news is not available – LPA requires a news summary and news clips based on a hard copy review of newspapers. The format of these documents, news categories and search terms will change from time to time. Delivery formats should include, but not be limited to email Blackberry friendly format, and archival ability.
