- The work includes but is not limited to the following:A. Remove all existing sealants, caulks, sealant backing materials, bond breaker tape, etc. from all exterior joints on the ATCT. The exterior joints included are listed below:(1) Joints between precast concrete wall panels(2) Joints between precast concrete wall panels and any openings such as doors or louvers(3) Joints between precast concrete wall panels and any flashing materials(4) All penetrations of precast concrete wall panels B. Clean and prepare all exterior joints identified in item A to receive new sealant material in accordance with new sealant manufacturer's requirements/recommendations. D. Restore the site to its original condition upon completion of work under this contract. Repair any damage caused by the contractor's operations or equipment, such as cranes, lifts, etc. This includes sidewalks, pavement, curbs, lawn, landscaping, lawn sprinkler systems, etc. 1. This project is a total set-aside for Small Business Concerns. 2. Construction time is 21 calendar days 3. The NAICS code is238190- ($13.0M) Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors4. Estimated Bid Range: $50,000-$100,0005. The contractor is expected to perform at least 25% of the work using its own employees. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING GO/NO-GO CRITERIA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SOLICITATION PACKAGE AND/OR AWARD:A.The Contractor shall have a sufficient number of skilled workers thoroughly trained and experienced in sealant application, familiar with the sealant manufacturer's recommended installation methods and practices, and familiar with the specified requirements and methods required for the proper performance of the work. B.The Contractor shall be a specialty waterproofing contractor with a minimum of 15 years experience in caulking and waterproofing high rise buildings (over 120 feet). C.All employees/applicators shall have a minimum of three years experience in the application and installation of caulks and sealants including the types of materials specified. D.The contractor shall have completed ten (10) similar projects in the past five (5) years.
