- The James J. Peters Department of Veterans Affairs (JJP) has a requirement for CERTIFIED HEALTH PHYSICIST to complete Linear Accelerator Acceptance Testing. The services are needed after date of award and services are expected to commence on or about January 21, 2009 and be completed with approximately 35 days of commencement of work. The candidate must be a certified health physicist licensed to work in New York State. All work is to take place at JJP in Bronx, New York. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures. Sources Sought Notice was previously posted on December 16, 2008. This procurement is set aside for 100% small business. The applicable NAICS code is 541690 with size standard $7.0M. The solicitation will be available on or about December 24, 2008 with responses due on January 15, 2009 by 1:00p.m EST.
