Description
Sole Source Notice: This is a notice of intent of The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, In accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b) and 41 USC 253 (c) (1) to solicit with a single source for continuous support of preventive maintenance services. The Department of Veterans Affairs intent is to sole source the following requirement to Kirby Lester/AutoMed Company. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333298 Size Stand 500 employees. The purpose of this procurement is to provide 24x7 phone support and on site Preventive Maintenance for the Automated Drug Dispensing machines located at the seven Community Outpatient Clinics, which are; Mansfield, Painesville, Painesville Mental Heath, Calcutta (formerly East Liverpool), New Philadelphia, Warren and Ravenna. Coverage does not include software updates. The proprietary data belongs to the Kirby Lester/AutoMed Company. The Government believes that this is the only company that can provide this service.. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to Maladean E. Hudson at maladean.hudson@va.gov or, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141 or via fax to (440) 838-6052. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed to sole source this requirement to Kirby Lester/AutoMed.
