Description
Los Angeles Air Force Base is conducting market research (not a notice of solicitation) to lease or buy a hematology analyzer that will fulfill the requirement of the Base Clinic. The hematology analyzer should meet the following requirements: The lease or buy should include maintenance and reagents and can perform blood counts on red blood cells, neutrophils (absolute count and percentage count), lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, platelets, mean corpuscle hemoglobin concentration, red cell distribution, width, count diagrams graphs and a computer transfer system that enables transmission of results from the analyzer to the clinic's Composite Health Care System. The new analyzer must have an autoloader capability that will reduce the likelihood of exposure to blood borne pathogens. The rental agreement must have maintenance and reagent costs included. Machine maintenance will be provided during business hours Monday-Friday. Installation of the new analyzer will be included in the rental agreement. The old analyzer will be kept operational until all of the necessary set-up has been performed on the new analyzer, and that it is functioning properly. The requirement is 2 February 2009. All interested firms must submit a capabilities package that demonstrates capability and expertise related to this requirement. Packages must include company name, CAGE code, address, phone number and whether their firm is a large business, small business, 8(a), HUBZone, etc. Firms should provide qualifications including a list of any government buy or lease contracts held over the last three years that are similar in complexity and magnitude to this requirement.
