Description
This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for new Engines, 2 kW, Single-Cylinder Diesel and 3 kW, Single-Cylinder Diesel used on the 2 kW Military Tactical & 3 kW Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG) Sets. This contractual effort is for a seven year flexible long term contract with the quantity are 35 ea. (Low) and 360 ea. (High) for both combined NSNs. Request that suppliers provide the Government with their Production Lead time and a cost estimate for these items. The NSNs are 2815-01-419-8704 for the 2 kW Engine, Drawing number 95-8001 and 2815-01-465-5993 for the 3 kW Engine, Drawing number 98-19513. There are current sources for these items, they are Martin Diesel, Inc., CAGE 3U737 and Bell Power Systems, CAGE 00U12. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years engines will be available or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the engines.
