- Description Project VA-256-09-RP-0071 Architectural and Engineering Services necessary to prepare complete contract documents consisting of specifications, drawings, and any other documents for bidding purposes and A/E construction period services to upgrade the HVAC in building 45. The project includes general re-design and removal of existing radiant ceiling panel system and replacing with Variable Air Volume (VAV) HVAC system including all associated components including but not limited to resized air handling unit and duct work and all associated controls for a complete working system. Project will involve work on two floors with removal of 120 panels in 64 patient rooms and installing a complete and functional VAV HVAC system. Building 45 is a two story building with three wings housing the nursing home and an Alzheimer's Unit. The project will require phasing and a temporary Alzheimer's Unit during construction. A complete scope of work will be provided upon request. A/E selection based on recent specialized experience, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project, proposed management plan, cost control, estimating effectiveness, schedule control and location of A/E firm and consultants. Area of consideration is restricted to A/E firms within a 100 mile radius driving distance from 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, Louisiana. This notice issued subject to availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The estimated construction cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
