- This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information on proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source requirement for base plus four (4) option periods with Raytheon Company under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain annual support and maintenance services for Title III Collection System Fleet previously provided by Raytheon Company. Raytheon Company holds all proprietary rights to their own equipment. Therefore, Raytheon Company is the only responsible source that will satisfy the Government needs for the required services. If there are any concerns in regards to DEA's intent please contact Ghazala Shabnam. Closing Date is January 15, 2009.
