- Optometry Services, Pease Air National Guard Base, Newington, NH 03801. This is a presolicitation notice for personal services to perform Optometry Services for Pease ANG medical facility. Services include, but are not limited to the following: The Optometrist agrees to perform distant/near visual acuity exams, vertical/lateral phoria exams,VTA-ND (FAR) Depth Perception exam, near point of convergence,interocular tension. This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR 5.203(a) Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a solicitation will be issued. The Government expects to enter into a Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year of 01 Feb 2009 thru 31 Jan 2010 with 4 option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621320, and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotes and will be posted at Fed Biz Ops (http://www.fbo.gov) electronically. We anticipate the solicitation to be issued on or about 6 Jan, 2009 however this date may change and we invite all interested parties to check frequently for a possible change to this date. NO HARD COPIES will be provided. The solicitation must be downloaded from the internet. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Offerors will have 10 days from the release date of the solicitation to submit proposals.
