- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Lakewood, CO, has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice) on a sole source basis. This posting will be referred to under Request for Quote 601819Q207. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26, effective June 12, 2008. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems and the business size standard is $7M. This requirement is advertised under full and open procedures. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. Based on the information at this time, the Government considers the commodity specified as a sole source requirement from Ouray Park Irrigation and proposes to negotiate a contract with this firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for its requirement for an irrigation water assessment for Ouray National Wildlife Refuge, Utah. If your company has a GSA contract, please provide the GSA Contract No. as well. Offers must be received NLT close of business, 26 December 2008, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife, 134 Union Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80228. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non responsible in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Offeror must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items.
