- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract modification to Camber Corporation on or about 24 January 2009 for program management, acquisition management, engineering and technical services in support of the H-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters program office (PMA-261). This action is a modification to contract N00421-08-C-0044, extending the period of performance by three months, to 24 April 2009. It is estimated that the three-month contract extension will entail approximately 43,042 additional man-hours of service effort. Key labor categories include program analysts, acquisition specialists, systems analysts, and engineers. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code, Section 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
