- Description
- The Government has a services requirement to provide ground maintenance services for Hurlburt Field, FL. This is a restricted acquisition or 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561730 with a size standard of $7.0M; the SIC code is 0782. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 2 January 2009 and close on/about 3 February 2009. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This RFQ or solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. A site visit will be conducted at Hurlburt Field on Monday, 5 January 2009 at 9:30 a.m. local time at the 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron, 350 Tully Street, Building 90339, Hurlburt Field, FL 32544 for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Only one site visit will be held. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Submit the names of all attendees, not to exceed two (2) attendees per contractor, to Cherri Duval, cherri.duval@hurlburt.af.mil, 850-884-7691 or Mike Wenrick, michael.wenrick@hurlburt.af.mil, 850-884-1269 no later than 12:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, 30 December 2008. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Attendees must enter the base through the main gate (off Highway 98). Please allow extra time to obtain your base pass. All personnel requesting access to Hurlburt Field must possess a valid State or Government picture identification card. Personnel requesting a vehicle pass must possess vehicle registration and a valid vehicle insurance certificate. Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to the point of contact noted above not later than 12:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, 30 Dec 2008. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.
