- The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) intends to issue a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of one NSN, 6230-01-534-9010 (Spotlight), under solicitation number SPM8E8-09-R-0001. The approved source is Golight Corp. (07RN5), p/n 3049-24. If the product offered is other than the Golight spotlight, an equal product manufactured domestically or in a "Trade Agreement Act” country (see DFARS 252.225-7021), I/A/W the following specifications, will be considered. Spotlight for use on 24 Volt Vehicles. 370 Rotation x 135 Tilt Bulb--12 Volt / 65 Watts 500,000 Candle Power Maximum Current Draw: 5.5 Amps Color: Black Motors- Automotive grade 12 Volt D.C. High Torque Characteristics include: R.P.M.: 6087 constant Torque 17.133 mN.m/amp Stall: 12.31 mN.m Draw point 4 amps. Output: 1.96 watts with built in stall protection circuitry Stainless Steel Mounting Plate with Underlocking Interphase Wireless Remote Control- Handheld and Dash Mount R.F Programmable Super Heterodyne Receiver Waterproof Remote Transmitters capable of activating (turn On/Off) at 50 Yards (54.68 meters). R.F. remote allows for operation up to 100 feet - 433 mhz Two 12 Volt batteries included. Offerers supplying other than Golight Product must submit 2 Samples for Evaluation. Solicitation period will be 30 days; Issue Date: January 5, 2008, Closing Date: February 4, 3008. This procurement will be for a stock Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), which will be awarded in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.) The IQC will consist of a two-year base and three possible one-year options. All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with price and delivery data (for the two year base and the three one-year options). Follow directions as outlined in the solicitation. All responsible sources must submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. After solicitation open date, copies of the solicitation will be available on the DIBBS website. Interested parties will be able to obtain and view all required information to respond to the solicitation. The annual estimated demand quantity is 1,500 EA. Required delivery is 30 days after the date of the delivery order. Delivery will be to the Defense Distribution Depot located in New Cumberland PA 17070-5002. An award is anticipated by the end of June 2009. NOTE: Copies of the solicitation package will not become available until the solicitation issue date; copies will be made available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil.
